A chile pepper based seasoning blend typically used on, but not limited to, chicken or pork. This rub can also be used as a seasoning for fish, shrimp, beef, sausage and vegetables. The best flavor is generally achieved when the food is seasoned several hours prior to cooking,  placed in a bag, then in the refridgerator until ready to cook. Not to say you couldn't apply the seasoning blend immediately prior to cooking. Baking, grilling, smoking or the crock pot are all good options for cooking.
